Dear Colleagues

With this letter we would like to remind you of the forthcoming (third) Annual Meeting of the International Academy of Mathematical Chemsitry.

The meeting will be held again in Hotel Lero (e-mail: hotel-lero@du.htnet.hr) and will start on Thursday June 7 and continue till mid day Saturday June 9.

At this time we would appreciate letting us know of your plans to attend the meeting and willingness to present 25 minute lecture (plus additional 5 minute time for the discussion) of your recent research. We will at most be able to accommodate 15 lectures, but because after our meeting there will be in the same hotel as a continuation MATH/CHEM/COM 2007 (from June 11-16), we can coordinate the two events and give preference to people attending only the Int. Acad. Math. Chem. Meeting.

We would also like to remind you that as one of privileges of the members of the Academy you may invite and bring with you one of guest members.

There is no registration fee for members and their guests but unfortunately we are in no position to support attendance to the meeting. We hope that members can get support to attend the meeting from their own institutions. We also hope that as on our previous meetings organizers will provide coffee (or beer) during the "coffee" breaks and joint dinner before the end of the meeting.

During the business part of the meeting (only for members of the Academy) members will vote on election of new members, who have been already nominated at the meeting in 2006, and will have opportunity to nominate new members to be elected at the annual meeting in year 2008. Please do not make proposals for new members either in writing or by proxy - but only in person during the business meeting on June 9, 2007. The only exception in that respect is the privilege granted to our Honorary Fellows, who may make suggestions any time by contacting any of the officials of IAMC.

We are taking the opportunity to ask members when discussing matters of possible interest to other members to avoid sending such as "joint" letters (with lengthy list of persons), but direct them to one or all of the current officials of the Int. Acad. Math. Chem., who if appropriate can use Bulleting of IAMC as a way to disseminate relevant information. This will prevent participation of those not interested and may prevent those not entitled to such information to obtain it by mistake.

During the last meeting, 5 new members have been elected as full members of the International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry.

* Ramon Carbó-Dorca (Belgium)
* Johann Gasteiger (Germany)
* Timothy C. Germann (USA)
* Mati Karelson (Estonia)
* Dražen Vikić-Topić (Croatia)

The Meeting in Dubrovnik is co-organized by the NMR Center of the Institute Rudjer Boskovic, Zagreb, Croatia. The sponsors of the Academy includes the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts, Zagreb, Croatia, the National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics, University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
